Fajr Int'l film market to host 20-plus Iranian movies

A selection of 25 Iranian films is set to be presented to the representatives of international distributors during the sideline of Iranian film market at the 37th Fajr International Film Festival.

The organizers announced the Iranian batch to be offered at the market during a press release on Saturday with no further detail on the lineup yet.

Screening rooms and a video library will be provided for the film owners to introduce their films to the market participants.

Established in 1982, the Fajr International Film Festival celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the 37th edition of Fajr International Film Festival will take place in Tehran from April 18 to 26, 2019.
